Science Tokyo opened on 1 October 2024 through the merger of Tokyo Institute of Technology and Tokyo Medical and Dental University, combining science and engineering with medicine and dentistry. Its International Graduate Program, started at Tokyo Tech in 2007, runs master's and doctoral programmes entirely in English, and there is an English-taught undergraduate track (GSEP).
